Mirror Mount

Have you ever wondered just what was going on behind you in the trail when you have your windshield down? During the summer I have just that issue. I would like to just look in my rear view mirror, but it is attached to the window. Crap. I thought to myself, "self why not just mount it to the cage?" So I came up with a solution for this one. I will get pics tomorrow when I get it mounted. :mrgreen:

Here are a couple of pictures before I get around to getting it mounted.

What I did was take the original mount apart where the mirror mounted. Keeping the ball that it pivoted on and fabricated a new piece out of steel to weld to my cage. The piece will mount on the under side of the front hoop tube, that is why there is a radius milled into the mount. Yes this was done on a cnc, it is what I do....
